Coach Cantey

I teach Algebra I AI, Algebra I AII and Algebra II AII. I am a varsity football coach (Defensive Coordinator) and the J.V. Boys Basketball coach.  Prior to coming to Bishop England, I taught science and coached football at Ruffin High School in Colleton County, SC in 1997. I began to volunteer coach at BE in ’98 and came on as a full time math teacher and coach in ’99. 

I graduated from Bishop England in ‘92.  I began college at Presbyterian College, but transferred to Clemson and graduated there in ‘96.

I have been at BE all my life. My father, Jack Cantey, was the Head Football coach and teacher here for over 30 years.
